Testing Facility

A fully automatic test bench of a capacity of 700nkg/cm2 is available at western hydraulics. The test bench has an automated system to test the forward & backward stroking of the cylinder. pressure test from both ends of the cylinder while the piston is in the centre can also be conducted on the test bench.

EACH AN EVERY HYDRAULIC CYLINDER MANUFACTURED /REPAIRED BY WESTERN HYDRAULICS UNDERGOES THE FOLLOWING TEST PROCEDURE BEFORE DISPATCH.

FUNCTION TEST:
Hydraulic cylinders convert hydraulic pressure into powerful linear force and motion. They are designed to operate smoothly under high-pressure industrial conditions.
Hydraulic cylinders are widely used in construction, agricultural, and mobile machinery.
Double-acting and telescopic hydraulic cylinders provide reliable and controlled operation.
These cylinders are built for durability, efficiency, and low maintenance.

PROOF PRESSURE TEST:
The proof pressure test is conducted to verify the structural integrity of the hydraulic cylinder.
During the test, the cylinder is pressurized above its rated working pressure.
The cylinder must withstand the proof pressure without leakage, deformation, or damage.
This test ensures safe and reliable operation under normal working conditions.
Proof pressure testing is performed in accordance with international hydraulic standards.

INTERNAL BYPASS TEST:
The internal bypass test is performed to check for leakage across the piston seals inside the hydraulic cylinder. During the test, pressure is applied while the piston is held in a fixed position. Any pressure drops or unintended piston movement indicates internal bypass. This test ensures the sealing efficiency of the piston and seal assembly. Proper internal bypass testing improves cylinder performance and efficiency. The test is carried out as per standard hydraulic testing procedures.
