Testing And Quality Inspection

Hydraulic manifold blocks are inspected according to approved manufacturing drawings, hydraulic circuits, valve specifications, and customer requirements.

Testing and inspection may include:

  • Raw-material identification and dimensional inspection
  • Verification of ports, threads, valve cavities and mounting interfaces
  • Inspection of internal passage continuity and interconnections
  • Verification of plugs, sealing surfaces and machined surface finish
  • Internal deburring and cleanliness inspection
  • Pressure-integrity and external-leakage testing of sealed passages
  • Functional testing of assembled valves and cartridge systems
  • Directional, pressure and flow-control performance testing
  • Verification of sequencing, interlocking, sensors and pressure switches
  • Cleaning and flushing of internal passages
  • Capping and plugging of hydraulic ports before dispatch

Where required, completed manifold assemblies are tested using filtered hydraulic oil according to the approved hydraulic circuit and component pressure ratings.
